A Darling Ghoul Halloween

Well, it took longer than I anticipated put A Darling Ghoul Halloween is live!

I just wanted to thank all of my wonderful customers for helping to make this the awesome collection that it is.  You all came up with some great ideas.  If I didn't use yours it wasn't because I didn't like, but just didn't have the time to get it all done.  Much love to you all!

My internet was giving me fits so there may some swatch pic's missing but you can see great swatches here and here

Anyway, I am pooped, going to finish watching X-Men with the family.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Zombody to Love

I have really been loving navy's lately so I couldn 't wait to play with Zombody to Love (this was previously Zombie-body to Love, but didn't roll of the tongue well) I just did a super simple smokey eye with it, so on to the look.

What I used: Elf mineral primer with Glitter Glue on just the lower lid.
Zombody to Love lower lid and and blended out just above the crease.
I love to use GG on just the lid because you almost get the effect of two different colors.
Eye liner: Milani Liquif'eye in black to tight line, Snuggle along lower lash line, then applied the same Milani liner over it and smudged Zombody to Love over the black liner.
Err, obviously I had some blending issues I needed to take care of, but I was too lazy to re-take the pictures. =/
Face: Blend of Lucy Minerals in medium with Pretty Pampered Primer Powder
Cheeks: Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in Tipsy with Ghost Light Spectral Shift along cheek bones
Lips: MAC Fanfare Thank Cait!  I won MAC Fanfare along with some other awesome stuff from Cait at Swatch Storm.  Fanfare is so a me color I love it.

Onto just a little update...I am trying really hard to get the Darling Ghoul Halloween stuff up on eCrater but my stupid internet is cooperating.  I don't really understand what is going on because I can surf the internet just fine and I uploaded the pic's for this post just fine, but when I try to upload pic's to my shop it times out. I am getting really frustrated because I have been trying to get this finished since last night. =/  I am going to contact eCrater and see if they are having any technical difficulties, but I will let you know as soon as it's live.

Have a great weekend!

What's going on at Darling Girl...

Hi ladies! I hope everyone's weekend is going well. I spent some much needed time with the kiddo's and husband. We all piled up in our bedroom with some munchies and watched Thor and went to see a Nascar race last night.  We had a blast drank beer, ate food that is terrible for us and  I hooted and hollered at the drivers.  My kids laugh at me because I am usually somewhat reserved but a good NASCAR race brings out the country girl hidden inside. :P

Anyhow....on to the going's on at DGC... I know everyone is eagerly anticipating the Darling Ghoul Halloween release and had hoped to get it out either tonight or tomorrow, but unfortunately I think I am going to have to put it off for a week. I have a order of supplies I am still waiting on, but most importantly I want to get all the sale orders finished before I get another surge of sales. I seem to be falling a little behind, but I think I will still be in my 14 - 16 day turn around time. I do so many custom orders i.e. scent's and fragrance's that I can't really get my TAT under that 14-16 mark. So, I thank you all for your patience and support. <3

The other thing going on is that I realized that when I had a PC virus several month's ago that I lost formula's for many of best selling products, so in the midst of trying to fill orders I have been trying to reformulate the much loved Glitter Glue, Aqua Liner's and both the Luscious Lip Balm and Kiss Me Tinted lip balm bases. If you notice a difference in consistencies this is why. I am trying to get them as close to the original as possible though. Aqua Liners are still OOS because I am waiting on a supply order, but Glitter Glue and Luscious Lip Balm are back or will be as soon as I am done with this post. :P

With all this going on I am feeling a little overwhelmed, so I am going to shut the cart down for the week, so I can really focus on getting these last sale orders out the door and finish reformulating my Aqua Liner and then when I re-open I will have the Darling Ghoul Halloween goodies up.

I am also working on a couple of collections that will be coming out in the next few month's the "Rainbow Brite" collection which will be fun layering shadows that can be worn alone as a fun duochrome highlight with some fun sparklies, but these look stunning over a dark base. Wendy will be sneak peaking these for you all in the next several weeks. I hope to introduce Glitter Glue Noir with this collection is will be a black version of Glitter Glue that you can use with the Rainbow Brite collection, as well as Awesomesauce a wet lining serum I am also working on

Also in the works the "Day to Night" collection that will be coming out around Thanksgiving. This collection will be HUGE and will consist of some pretty washes of colors that are office friendly and some  fun colorful liner shades with a bit of glitz to take you into night time festivities. I also hope to have worked out a few kinks in my lipstain formula and have these ready by Thanksgiving as well.

Phew, I think that is it for now.
